You are kindly requested to observe the following: 1. Remain calm.

2. Turn off the cell phone or put it on a silent mode before entering the central library.

3. Place student’s belongings in the designated places (lockers) at the entrances to the Central Library (non-valuable).

4. Register the name of students/college/department/stage (mandatory) in the register of visitors upon entering the library, which provides them with the opportunity to win the award of the most frequent visitor of the library, which is distributed periodically in various university forums.

5. Preserve the library’s holdings, including books, reference materials, computers, etc. It is not permitted to place any mark, writing, or markings on them.

6. Abstain from connecting to any electronic devices to the research computers (electronic section), as It is prohibited and they are available for paper reference search for (the catalog of Al-Zahra University and searching for modern references through the approved sites at the electronic library.

7. Adopt a modern search mechanism through the scanner of the central library catalog, which is provided to different university departments and colleges, and in the university’s and female students’ means of communication and the library’s website, in addition to the provision of a brochure and an introductory video to learn about the new search mechanism and according to the international standard Koha system.

8. Abstain from returning books to the shelves (mandatory) after reading and seeking the help of the available employee to return them or leaving them on the reading tables.

Loan conditions:

1. Bring the student’s university ID for the purpose of filling out her data according to the application card available in the electronic section (research calculators)
2. The student must protect the book from damage as it is a precious and valuable item in the hands of the students.
3. The student will be fined for replacing the reference with two references from the same specialty in the event it is damaged or lost
4. It is forbidden to mark the pages of the book with any type of markers
5. The loan period is five days, renewable if necessary and in the event that another researcher does not request it.
6. The student will be fined for each day of delay after the loan period the amount of (1000) Iraqi Dinars.
7. Library patrons from outside the university are allowed to borrow after filling out the written pledge designated for that purpose, noting that some references are not available to external loan due to their scarcity and being among the “paramount refererences.”
