The Central Library Department organizes a cultural dialogue workshop on the book entitled “Women Around the Sun”

In honor of the birth anniversary of the Lord of the Age and Time (may God hasten his honorable appearance), in commemoration of his blessed birth and under the auspices of the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, and in the presence of the Administrative Assistant to the University President, the Central Library Department, in cooperation with the Center for Continuous Education, organized a special cultural workshop to discuss the book: “Women Around the Sun”, presented by the library chief in charge: Hanan Farouk, the author of the book: Ms. Zainab Sahib, and the co-authors: Ruqaya Muhammad Sadiq, Zainab Nasser Al-Asadi, Marwa Nahed Khaddam, Walaa Atshan Al-Moussawi, on Wednesday, 2/21/2024, at the Central LibraryDepartment.
The workshop discussed the short story collection “Women Around the Sun”, the experience of the female writers participating in it, and the importance of writing, reading and their role in developing female students’ awareness. Female students also participated with questions and interventions. In closing, female writers were honored and the anniversary of the birth of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his honorable appearance) was celebrated.
