The surface area of the central library is (800) square meters, with two sections, each section has an area of (400) square meters, and each wing can accommodate up to 150 female students. It includes an equipped electronic library in addition to a place designated for reading and deliberation, according to the attached pictures.

The Central Library at Al-Zahra University (AS) for Women is committed to international standards in all aspects of its library activities and office support services. It seeks to continuously support the efficiency of its operations through continuous quality assurance, quality enhancement activities, and the intellectual policy in which it believes. Therefore, the Central Library at Al-Zahraa University has adopted the global classification system (Koha) - RDA rules, so that the researchers in general and university students in particular can find methodological and research references due to the advantages that this system possesses of indexing and paper and electronic lending.

The university presidency also intended to provide paper references (methodological/source) since the first day of the university’s opening, starting with 573 references (medical/humanitarian) for the year 2019 and reaching 5349 (medical/humanitarian/general culture/essays and dissertations), according to the attached statistics, in addition to a complete statistic of electronic essays and dissertations which is available in the Central University Library, and a statistical report that is sent annually according to the attached books. .
