With high technical specifications, the digital library project for Al-Zahraa University was inaugurated by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Based on modern software specifications, Al-Zahraa University, particularly its Central Library Department, launched a unique electronic experience by creating the digital library that relies on modern digital systems to manage the reading process, obtain scientific research references, and assist students in tracking academic assignments in a unique way.
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research opened this library during his visit to the premises of Al-Zahraa University accompanied by His Eminence the legal guardian of the holy shrine of Imam Hussein, His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, the Secretary-General Hajj Hassan Rashid Al-Abayji, and Hajj Fadel Ooz, the Deputy Secretary-General, Dr. Alaa Diaa Al-Din, Head of the Health and University Education Authority, Dr. Sattar Al-Saadi and the President of Al-Zahraa University, Prof. Dr. Zainab Abdul Hussein Al-Mulla Al-Sultani as well as a number of administrative and teaching staff members at the university.
This project aspires to boost the digital capabilities of female students, as well as to linking the university library to reliable digital libraries in the world.
